This fee covers the entire, escrow-secured management of the Purchase Agreement – from your placement of the order to the entry of your ownership title in the land register. We draft the required documents (esp. purchase agreement, escrow agreement, notice of escrow to the Austrian Bar Association) and coordinate with the individuals involved.
* out-of-pocket expenses are the court application fee, notarization costs, administration fees for building land certificates, postage, etc.
After your order confirmation, you will receive a separate bill of fees containing our fee, out-of-pocket expenses, and the land transfer tax and registration fee due*. After receipt of the payment, we will begin with the execution of the Purchase Agreement. You will be immediately informed upon receipt of the payment.
* The land transfer tax is a (legal) transaction tax and applies to the purchase of plots in Austria. As a rule, it amounts to 3.5% of the purchase price, 2% in the case of close relatives. The court registration fee amounts to 1.1% of the purchase price.
